With fond memories of a true gentleman, and a true professional. From the many times you took the teenage Me trucking to and through Europe to the times when I started doing the job myself with you selflessly taking time to guide me through the many obstacles associated with the job. And not forgetting the good times, like being told to make use of the “facilities” at a customer in Rungis market, we found a 5 gallon plastic drum of Red wine, which we were invited to share, so we did ........ big time !!! . We did however turn down our hosts offer of food when we lifted the lid on a huge pan to be looking at a whole cows head looking back at us. The stories are endless, as are the memories... If you have any bother when you get to the pearly gates, You, of all people will talk your way in.. But I know for a fact you’ll be straight in. RIP John, you may be gone, but definitely NOT forgotten.
